Stars, The Best Snippits

Stars are by far my favourite ornament at Christmas time, in fact I love stars all year round!I love that the three wise men followed the star and it guided them. So stars always make an appearance in my Christmas decorating. On Friday I wondered why I hadn't yet put my favourite ornament with my favourite colour so I whipped up a batch of fun little felt stars. Ahhhh so good to add some handmade to the holidays, it just makes it feel right.

The Best Snippits

Today Blake has gone on a spontaneous short holiday with Nanny. This little guy has been super happy with the slow pace that is happening here for the first Monday in our holidays.
He learnt how to do Hi fives " up high, down low, ohhh too slow". So cute!
I have a tone of spring cleaning to do around here while the pace is a little slower. It will be nice to freshen a few places up and organise a few things.
Also Luke's journey is moving along, he has been accepted into a special needs class. It will be a different school to Blake but we are all hoping it will be the best thing for Luke.  :)

The Best Snippets: 20th July

Loved the look on Blake's face today when he got in the car after school and realised that Luke wasn't there...so Special Nanny (yes that is what we call her) MUST be at our house, because you didn't really sell Luke mummy!!!?? :P
It is always a good day when Special Nanny comes to play!

The Best Snippet

Hi! I am finally starting to feel like me again and we are getting back into the grove again.

A few days ago I came across a diary that I started a little over a year ago, it was like a sentence a day journal but I knew that I wasn't clever enough to fit all I wanted to say in just one sentence so it was just a few short sentences  to sum up the best part of my day.
Sometimes it was just something that the boys said or did and sometimes it was more. As Paul and I read through I was wishing that I had stuck with it!
Yes it only focused on the good that happened that day but that was what  was so special about it. I was thinking that I would love to start doing that again! Since my blog is severely lacking lately I thought this might be a good place to do it. Just the best snippet of my day, once a day (when I can), as often as I can.
Of course my normal posts will happen too but I thought this would be something nice to share here.
I will also be sharing some photos from the very lovely  Fairy Lea-Anne very soon!
